Forming a partnership with The Timeout Foundation
Whatever the level or type of involvement, Individuals, Companies and their employers, employees can work to ensure that they develop deep, long-lasting partnerships with our Charity –The Timeout Foundation.
Partnerships are relatively long-term relationships based on mutual benefit.
Effective partnerships are serious commitments that develop in different ways and take different forms, including:
- A one-to-one relationship between an Individuals, Company, employer (or a branch office) employees, and a local charity, covering multiple activities e.g. The Timeout Foundation
- One-to-one relationships between an employer (and its branch offices) and a group of 'link' charities e.g. The Timeout Foundation and those current partner charities in India- Children Walking Tall and The Educators trust. Mapusa Goa.
- Nationally recognised partnerships, including the running of national competitions or funding activities amongst our Charity- The Timeout Foundation.
- A 'one-off' annual £25 subscription/ unit to our charity –The Timeout Foundation- we have a target of achieving 100 individuals, companies to work within this partnership- we would appreciate your completion of the attached form for which you will be acknowledged and this is tax deductable. Multiple units of £25 are available if you wish to commit to more than the one-off subscription.
Ideally they involve:
- Clear needs and capacity assessment as well as analysis of the benefits to be achieved by the different stakeholders- what will you receive for your philanthropic work
- Assessment of the necessary conditions for the partnership's success, e.g. the need to address the recognised needs of the charity- The Timeout Foundation
What do you receive:
- Communication between charity and individual. employer contacts, including regular reviews of how the partnership is progressing.
- A partnership agreement detailing what has been agreed between yourselves and The Timeout Foundation.
- Positive publicity and recognition for work undertaken – including advertising within our publications and report writing (subject to safe-guarding)
Opportunities to influence the work of the trustees within The Timeout Foundation through access and invitation to open meetings- First Meeting March 2011 to celebrate the activities undertaken in the last financial year
